Assalam Alaykum,
To celebrate the birth of the Heroes of Karbala (‘alayhim assalam), AlBaqir Academy has organized a special day at the Edmonton Ski Club (9613 96 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6C 2B3) on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, for the Grade 7 to 12 Students.
AlBaqir Academy requires advance written permission for each student to participate in this field trip. Please note that students without prior written consent will not be able to attend.
Students will participate in ski and snowboarding lessons, as well as tubing.

Grades: Grades 7 to 12.
Time: During school hours.
Fee: Free of charge.
What to bring:
Warm winter clothing: Jacket, Snow Pants, Gloves/Mittens, Hat.
Winter boots for Tubing.
Ski socks or thick warm socks.
Water bottle.
Lunch and Snacks.
Uniform: Students are required to wear the AlBaqir Academy uniform on this trip.
Transportation: School Bus provided by AlBaqir Academy.
Drop-off time:
At AlBaqir Academy as usual, and the bus students will be picked up as usual and brought to AlBaqir Academy. Gr. 7 - 12 students will be transported to the Ski Club with a bus. If your child misses the bus, then you will need to drop him/her off at the Ski Club or they can stay at AlBaqir Academy.
