We are nearing maximum capacity for most of our grades for the 2019-2020 academic year, however our grade 3/4 and 5/6 class have already reached maximum capacity.
Students registering for Grades 3 to 6 will be put on a waiting list.

All accredited schools in the Province of Alberta are mandated through provincial law, regulation, and policy to be publicly accountable. In late 2017, the Alberta government passed Bill 24, which amended the School Act to reflect respect and protection for all sexual orientations. In compliance with the Alberta government enactment of Bill 24, AlBaqir Academy was obligated to develop a policy established under section 45.1 of the School Act, to reflect all its amendments, which can be found in Sections 12, 30 & 30.1 of its policies. AlBaqir Academy reports to the provincial government through Alberta Education.
