An educational field trip has been scheduled for your child’s class to the Telus World of Science on Friday, May 10, 2024.
AlBaqir Academy requires each student to have an advance written permission to go on a field trip. Students who do not have prior written permission will not be able to participate in the field trip.

Location: Telus World of Science - Edmonton (11211 142 Street NW, Edmonton AB, T5M 4A1)
Date: Friday, May 10, 2024.
Arrival Time: 9:00 A.M.
Departure Time for KG: 12:45 P.M.
Departure Time for Gr 1-12: 2:40 P.M.
Transportation: Parents drop off and pick up at times indicated above at the main entrance of the Telus World of Science – Edmonton. Bus students will be picked up from the north side at 8:30 a.m. and will be brought back to the north side at around 3:30 p.m.
Students will need to bring: Bagged lunch (please leave backpacks at home). Microwaves will not be available.
Supervision: Staff of AlBaqir Academy.
Fee: $25.00 per student
Fee includes general admission to the building with access to all permanent exhibits, a 3D IMAX film (excluding Kindergarten), and a show in the new Zeidler Dome.
Uniform: Students are required to wear the AlBaqir Academy uniform.
Gift Shop: Students will have access to the gift shop after dismissal. A student must be accompanied and supervised by their parent/guardian inside the gift shop. Bus students are recommended to bring no more than $10 for the gift shop.
Accidents can occur with or without any fault on either the part of the student, or the school, or the facility where the activity is taking place. By allowing your child to participate in this activity, you are accepting the risk of an accident occurring and agree that this activity, as described above, is suitable for your child.
