AlBaqir Academy congratulates you all on the auspicious birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam), which is on the 17th of Rabi’ Al-Awwal.
In his honour, we are delighted to announce that AlBaqir Academy is celebrating and organizing a picnic day at Emily Murphy Park on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Details about the trip are as follows:
Location: Emily Murphy Park - Edmonton
11904 Emily Murphy Park Rd NW, Edmonton AB, T6G 2B6
Date: Friday, September 5, 2025.
Time: During School Hours
Transportation: School Bus provided by AlBaqir Academy. Students will be picked up and dropped off to and from the Academy.
Lunch: AlBaqir Academy will be serving lunch and cupcakes in honour of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam).
Students will need to bring: Bagged snacks, water bottles, and weather-appropriate clothing (e.g., raincoat/jacket, sunscreen, if needed)
Supervision: AlBaqir Academy staff.
Uniform: Students are required to wear the AlBaqir Academy uniform.
Fee: Free in honour of Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam).
Students are responsible for all their belongings, and AlBaqir Academy will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Students who do not come to the Academy for the picnic will be marked absent. Students who do not have a permission form to attend the picnic will have their parents called to pick them up.

AlBaqir Academy requires each student to have advanced written permission to go on the field trip. Students who do not have prior written permission will not be able to participate in the field trip.
